Justin Smith
Richmond native Justin Smith has been known to wear many musical hats as he leads and performs with different bands and projects. His main group is his jazz combo, the J. Smith Trio. The trio, which consists of guitar, bass, and drums, has been together for the better part of a decade. Justin Smith also performs with Bossa Brava, the Brazilian jazz quartet he started, which consists of vocals, guitar, bass, and drums.
Brian Cruse
Brian hails from Arlington, VA and began playing bass when he was 14. He began studying electric bass and music theory with John McCain and was a drum major and bass player. He frequently plays with the likes of Charlie Kilpatrick, Tommy Daughtrey, Justin Smith, CJ Wolf, Chris Ryan, Kelli Strawbridge, Dave Tenenholtz, James Beard, Paul Deiss & Sheri Oyan.
